It's like sitting in someone's front living room. It was lovely. The food portions aren't massive, but the food is tasty. Waiting staff can be a little brusk but not rude. A good meal out. Would eat there again.
Love that they can accommodate for a peanut allergy. Pad Thai & Green Thai were good, papaya salad was a really nice side but was the same price as the green Thai curry which seemed a bit strange given it’s not really a main. Staff nice too, look forward to going again
A fanatic little place located just before the land gate in the historic town of Rye. Friendly service awaits you where the table are quaint and idle for a romantic meal for couples. There’s enough room for larger groups too. Food choice was massive and has all the Thai favourites. Food arrived quickly and hot which tasted amazing. Not overly spiced, cooked just right. Well worth a visit for a lovely evening out. We choose the pad Thai which was Amazing. Prices were very reasonable too.
The hype is real! This place was wonderful; kind attentive staff, delicious authentic food and a very happy bustling atmosphere. Plenty of vegan options also. I recommend getting a selection of the starters; the veg tempura and sweetcorn cakes were especially delicious. The only thing that could be improved (for me) would be if they could have more drinks on offer, as I'm someone who doesn't have soft drinks, wine or beer. if there was a BYOB corkage situation, that would be great! Thank you Lemongrass team for a lovely experience, and squeezing us in at the last minute. (Another tip - book in advance!)
We had a lovely meal at The Lemongrass. The food was delicious, fresh, good value and there was a great selection. The atmosphere is so nice in the restaurant, great decor and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend! We would recommend the mixed platter. Some of the best prawn toast I have ever had!
1st time eating here and it won't be the last. Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Most importantly, foods always yummy. Very friendly service the few times we've been in. Nothing to fault really aside from the portions being smaller than other places I've been for the same price.
